Wildlife rehabilitation is not a do-it-yourself science! Our advice: if the bird is definitely injured, get the bird to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator! In Pennsylvania, one must be permitted to care for injured wildlife. From time to time, people reach out to us when they find an injured bird.
